4. Cargo Liability & Insurance

Dargol Logistics cargo liability terms:

  • Standard Coverage: All shipments are covered for loss or damage up to the declared value, subject to our Standard Cargo Insurance.
  • Prohibited Items: Dargol Logistics does not accept illegal goods, currency, weapons, or items banned under UAE or Iraqi law. Discovery of such items will result in immediate reporting to authorities and forfeiture.
  • Declared Value: Clients are responsible for accurately declaring the value of their shipment. Underdeclaration may affect insurance claims.
  • Customs Compliance: Dargol Logistics acts as a customs broker on your behalf. Clients are ultimately responsible for ensuring goods are legally importable under Iraqi law.
  • Damage Claims: All damage claims must be reported within 7 days of delivery with photographic evidence.
  • Force Majeure: Dargol Logistics is not liable for delays caused by customs inspections, border closures, weather, war, or other events beyond our control.
